Raccoons can get into openings in eaves or rip open entry points into a home. They are good climbers and can get on the roof and enter through chimneys. We use special traps that catch raccoons as they leave the exit hole on your building, and heavy-duty live traps for raccoons in the attic. Raccoons we catch are relocated where Michigan law allows.

Red and flying squirrels can be some of the most challenging critters to control, because their entry points can be hidden behind siding, roof vents, or porches. Squirrels can make a lot of noise in walls and attics and can chew wires. We use special traps that catch multiple squirrels at once. We remove red squirrels, pine squirrels, flying squirrels, fox squirrels, ground squirrels, and chipmunks.

Bats often cause scratching noises in walls and ceilings. We get bats out of the attic with a device called an excluder, which lets bats leave and not reenter. Once the bats are out, we return to remove the devices and seal the remaining entry points.

Live trapping for skunks, groundhogs, and opossums
Covers up to 14 days of live (cage) trapping.

What we do
- Set live traps for up to 14 days.
- At our discretion, we may leave traps open longer at no extra charge.
- When Michigan law allows, we release animals at least 10 miles away, on land where we have the owner’s permission, following our DNR permit.
- Skunks can’t be relocated by Michigan law. We handle them as our DNR permit requires.
- We can help prevent future problems, like keeping animals from getting under decks or sheds. Exclusion services

Good to know
- Many animals eat the same food, so other animals can get caught. The first animal caught is covered by the $325, whether or not it’s the animal you called about. Each animal caught after that is $75, including non-target animals we release on site. We use trapping methods that help reduce off-target captures. The $75 covers travel and tech time.
- Sometimes an animal leaves the area on its own before it’s caught. That’s out of our control, and the $325 isn’t refunded.
- If the same kind of animal causes a problem in the same area within 30 days after we remove our traps, we’ll set traps again with no new $325 fee. A $75 trip fee applies for each animal caught, which covers resetting the trap and handling that animal.
- After 30 days, or for a different kind of animal, a new trapping program is needed.
- The animal has to be causing damage to qualify as nuisance wildlife under our DNR permit. Animals just passing through or seen on camera may not qualify.
- Pets and other domestic animals are always released on site. If a pet is the first animal caught, it’s covered by the $325; after that, a $75 trip fee applies to come out and release them.

Removing an animal is only part of the job. We provide exclusion services to keep wild critters from getting under sheds and decks using barriers that help keep animals out. After bat exclusion, we return to seal the remaining entry points.
For businesses: we offer wildlife control for commercial customers, and the service inspection fee is waived.

How much is a wildlife service inspection?
The service inspection is $129. It covers our time to inspect your building, and you get a detailed quote identifying the problem areas. If you purchase the quoted service within 30 days, the $129 is applied to it.
Do I need an inspection for a skunk, groundhog, or opossum?
Not for simple live trapping of skunks, groundhogs, and opossums. The inspection is required before most other wildlife services.
