Who we work with

Facilities and operations directors, and business offices handling bids.

Common problems we hear

  • Michigan school IPM and notice rules
  • Parent concerns
  • Bid paperwork
  • Pests in cafeterias, lockers and gyms

Common pests

Mice, ants, cockroaches and stinging insects.

How we work

We work under a written IPM plan for each building, with monitoring, exclusion and bait or gel first. Liquid spray or aerosol insecticides are used only in rooms that will stay unoccupied by students for at least 4 hours afterward, or longer if the label requires. We tell the building manager the reentry time.

Records and paperwork

  • Written service report after each visit
  • We leave the customer information sheet that Michigan rules require
  • Product labels and SDS on request
  • COI available on request
  • W-9 and bank letter available on request
  • Net 30 terms for commercial accounts; ACH, EFT, check, card or cash

Scheduling

Tell us what you need and we’ll confirm what we can schedule.

Bids and RFPs

We respond to RFPs and bid requests.

Parent notices

Under Michigan law, the school or day care center sends the parent notices. Each year (for schools, within 30 days of the start of the school year; for day care centers, in September), it tells parents they’ll get advance notice at least 48 hours before any pesticide application other than a bait or gel. Notice is posted at the entrances plus one other method, and parents may ask for first-class mail notice. We provide notice templates and the application details you need (target pest, location, date) to complete them.

Licensing

Our applicators are MDARD-certified in Categories 7A (General Pest Management), 7B (Wood-Destroying Organisms) and 7F (Mosquito Management).
